The term ‘DD Cup’ is popular among boys, but it scares girls. People will be shocked if you mention that you are a Gcup in polite company.

Many women believe they are D-cup and seek out that size 

However, a fitting will reveal that the D cup is not the right size for them.

Brava, It’s not uncommon for a 14D woman to be fitted into a 10G bra at Brava It happens all the time! She looks and feels great, but she is often confused (sometimes in denial) about the correct bra size. Sometimes we don’t even tell her. It’s all about her appearance and how she feels. There have been many women who refused to wear the right bra size but still managed to fit into D cups. This could be a new fear or phobia. ‘Deecupphobia’!

Why is DD cup perceived as so large by so many?

Images of celebrities like Kim Kardashian are contributing to the confusion. Reports claim that she is 34DD (12DD)… Kim is small and has full breasts. We believe she is a 30H (8H). Her breast size is not affected by her 34/12 band. Would her rib cage appear like a 12? No. To us, she looks about the size of an Australian 8-10. This is one reason people consider DD so large.

Images of women wearing larger cups online are horrifying and intended to entice morons. Many women with larger cups than D cups will be seen amongst their friends and families. Chances are, they’re wearing a D cup that is too small. This makes their breasts appear larger and their grooming less professional.

Why is there so much confusion about bra size?

This phenomenon is no longer a cause. The DD cup was, for a long time, the largest size cup, and people viewed it as large. Many women wore DD bras that were too large for their bodies. The cups rose at the back, the shape was distorted, there was no support, the support was inadequate, and the support was poor. There were only two options: either you had bras made, or you could have them altered.

There is no reason to delay

D+ cup bras are being designed by innovative lingerie manufacturers that are supportive, beautiful and high-quality. For various reasons, the size range will not be available in all lingerie shops or department stores. However, the best specialist shops stock the finest. They work with many major cup lingerie brands from all over the world, and they test them on their customers. After that, they evaluate them and decline some. Only those that are truly supportive of women are stock.

We don’t need to tell you everything about sizing without explaining how bra sizes work. This will help you understand why a large cup size is not always a good choice. Did you know?

• A D cup in a size 10 band (10D), is three times smaller than one in a 16 band (16D). A 16-band size 10D cup would be equivalent in size to a 16-band 16A.
• A 12G cup is equal in size to a 20DD cup
• A 8J cup is equivalent to a 14GG.
• D cup augmented breasts generally measure from a 16D mass. It will look more like an F-cup on a 10 pound frame, as most surgeons don’t take into consideration the bra size (which is a big misconception). These slender 10″ ‘D’-cup girls will likely have a bra-sized F cup on their chest.
