ALL ABOUT SLEEP BRAS
TODAY, WE’RE DISCUSSING SLEEP BRAS Do you currently wear one to sleep? ARE YOU SUSPECT? What’s their purpose? We are here to help you answer all of those questions and more, as well as share some of our favorite recipes with you along the way!
WHAT’S a SLEEP BRA?
It’s a bra that you wear while you sleep. This bra is not the same as regular bras. Sleep bras must be wire-free to ensure that you are comfortable while you sleep. Bras that have wire support are not suitable for us as our bodies align differently during sleep. Because sleep bras are often looser, softer, and less supportive than regular bras, they are made from stretchy and super-soft materials.
WHY SHOULD ONE BE WEARED?
Leading Lady, one of our favorite sleep bra brands, has shared the top four reasons why you should wear a bra to bed every night.
REASON #1 WEARING A SLEEP BRA – STAY COMFORTABLE
Large breasts can tilt in many directions, making it difficult to find comfortable sleeping positions. Your comfort may be compromised by your breasts hanging awkwardly. Sleep bras will help you avoid this problem. Sleep bras can be worn on the back or side, and they will not poke or pinch your back. These wireless bras are flexible and can move with you nightly without restricting lymphatic fluid flow or causing inflammation.
REASON #2 TO WEAR A SLEEP BRA: AVOID IRRITATION
Ever felt your naked nipples rub against a shirt? It’s going to become very uncomfortable if this happens all night. A soft, breathable bra for sleep will protect your delicate breasts. It can be worn under your favorite sleep shirt, softest pajamas or silkiest nightgown.
REASON #3 WEARING A SLEEP BRA – SUPPORT LESS SAGGING
Aging is a common side effect of aging. This sad fact is something most women begin to notice in their 30s. Droopiness is a sign of aging. This includes your breast tissue. The problem is exacerbated by the fact that breast tissue becomes fatter over time. Gravitation makes sagging worse for women with large breasts. According to some plastic surgeons, a bra may not magically stop sagging. However, it can help to reduce the stretching of breast tissue. Your skin will not be as stressed if your breasts are properly positioned.
REASON #4 WEARING A SLEEP BRA – REDUCE PAIN
A sleep bra is a great option for women who have had breast surgery or have suffered from mastalgia (breast pain), which can or may not be related to their period. The constant yet gentle support that a sleep bra provides is what matters most. A front-closure bra is easier to put on or take off after surgery or during painful times.
